Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how A Teeny Tiny App Company Ltd., which operates Stockta.ai ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use Stockta.ai (the "Service"). For the purposes of applicable privacy legislation, A Teeny Tiny App Company Ltd. is the data controller. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and basic authentication metadata through our identity provider. We do not store passwords directly.

Billing information

Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not see or store your full card details. We retain a customer identifier, subscription status, and billing history sufficient to manage your account.

Usage data

We collect log data about how you interact with the Service — scanner runs, page views, request metadata, and error reports — so we can keep the product working and improve it over time.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers set cookies needed to keep you logged in, secure your session, and process payments. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

2. How we use information

  • To provide and operate the Service.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To send transactional and product emails (trial reminders, digest emails, account notices). You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time.
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the categories of service providers needed to run the Service:

  • Authentication and account management — to create and secure your account
  • Payment processing and subscription billing — to take payments and manage your subscription
  • Transactional email delivery — to send account notices, digests, and product emails
  • Market data providers — to ingest public price and volume data (we send tickers, not user information)
  • Hosting and infrastructure — to operate and monitor the Service

Each provider is bound by contract and applicable law to use your information only to deliver services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Stockta.ai, our users, or others.

4. Data retention

We retain account and billing data for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing support@stockta.ai. We will retain only what we are required by law to retain.

5. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@stockta.ai.

Canadian residents have rights under the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, provincial privacy legislation (including Quebec's Law 25, British Columbia's PIPA, and Alberta's PIPA), including the right to access and correct your personal information and to withdraw consent.

Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. We honor those rights. We typically respond to verified requests within 30 days.

If you are in Canada and believe your privacy rights have been violated, you may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

6. Security

We use industry-standard administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including TLS in transit, encryption at rest where supported by our providers, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure; you use the Service at your own risk.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International transfers

Our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you consent to these transfers.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notification. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when the current version took effect.
